In industrial valve automation systems, the actuator is the component that determines whether a valve can operate reliably over long cycles. In many real installations we have seen, valve issues are not caused by the valve itself, but by improper actuator selection-insufficient torque, unstable switching, or poor response under continuous operation.

The XM Pneumatic Valve Actuator is designed for quarter-turn valve automation, including ball valves and butterfly valves. It converts compressed air into rotary motion through a rack and pinion mechanism, enabling fast and stable valve operation in industrial process systems.

It is widely used in water treatment, chemical processing, HVAC systems, and general industrial automation where reliable on/off valve control is required.

Installation of Pneumatic Actuators

Reasonable installation is to ensure that the axis of the pneumatic actuator and the valve stem have coaxiality.Before actuator and valve assembly, the valve should be measured and the required torque should not be exceeded. After assembly, the pneumatic actuator and valve are tested, and the rated pressure is applied to the valve. The air source pressure of the actuator is 0.4mpa or according to the user's requirements. The opening and closing of the valve should be flexible, and there should be no stuck, crawling and other phenomena, and Do multiple trials.

Pneumatic actuators equipped with solenoid valves should be equipped with manual devices during debugging. Turn on the red button on the solenoid valve and go through the electrical commissioning. When using the manual operating mechanism, the gas or liquid source should be cut off, and then the pneumatic mechanism should be debugged. Pneumatic actuators should keep the air source dry and clean, and the actuators should be regularly maintained and maintained, and the air filter should be drained and drained regularly to avoid entering into the solenoid valve or pneumatic actuator and affecting normal work.
