Installation and maintenance of pneumatic butterfly valve
1. When installing, the valve disc should stop in the closed position.
2. The opening position is determined according to the rotation angle of the butterfly plate.
3. For butterfly valves with bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened first, and then opened.
4. Installation should be done in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. Double flap butterfly valves should be set on a solid foundation.
The valve stem of the pneumatic butterfly valve is a through-rod structure. After quenching and tempering treatment, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and scratch resistance. When the pneumatic butterfly valve opens and closes, the valve stem only rotates without lifting operation. The stem packing is not easy to be damage, and the sealing is reliable. It is attached to the conical pin of the disc, and the extended end is designed to prevent the stem from bursting if the connection between the stem and disc accidentally breaks.
