The working principle of pneumatic ball valve

The working principle of the pneumatic ball valve is to make the valve unblocked or blocked by rotating the valve core. Pneumatic ball valve switch is light, small in size, can be made into large diameter, reliable in sealing, simple in structure, convenient in maintenance, sealing surface and spherical surface are usually closed, not easy to be eroded by medium, and have been widely used in various industries.

Pneumatic ball valves and plug valves belong to the same type of valves, except that the closing part is a sphere, and the sphere rotates around the centerline of the valve body to open and close the valve.

The pneumatic ball valve is mainly used in the pipeline to cut off the speed, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium. Pneumatic ball valve is a new type of valve with the following advantages:

1. The fluid resistance is small, and its resistance coefficient is equal to that of the pipeline with the same length.

2. Simple structure, small size and light weight.

3. It is tight and reliable. The sealing surface material of the ball valve is widely used in plastic, which has good sealing performance. It is also widely used in vacuum systems.

4. The operation is simple, the switch is quick, and it takes 90 seconds from fully open to fully closed, which is convenient for remote control.

5. The maintenance is convenient, the structure of the pneumatic ball valve is simple, the sealing ring can be moved, and it is easy to disassemble and replace.

6. When the valve is fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and the valve seat is isolated from the medium, and the medium will not cause corrosion of the valve sealing surface.

7. It has a wide range of applications. The diameter ranges from a few millimeters to several meters, and it can be applied from high vacuum to high pressure.

8. Since the power source of the pneumatic ball valve is gas, the pressure is generally 0.2-0.8mpa, which is relatively safe. If the pneumatic ball valve leaks, it can be discharged directly compared with hydraulic, electric and gas, which has no pollution to the environment and has higher safety.

9. Compared with manual ball valves and turbine ball valves, pneumatic ball valves can be equipped with large diameters (manual ball valves and turbine ball valves generally have a diameter below DN300, and pneumatic ball valves can reach a diameter of DN1200.)

Pneumatic ball valves have been widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, power generation, papermaking, atomic energy, aviation, rocket and other departments as well as people's daily life.
