Operational Mechanism
The pneumatic actuator responds to control signals, which can be either a 4 - 20mA current signal or a switch signal. Once it receives the signal, it initiates action and drives the valve stem to rotate the ball by 90°.
Open State
In the open position, the channel within the sphere aligns precisely with the pipeline. This alignment allows the fluid to flow through the valve unimpeded, ensuring a smooth passage for the medium.
Closed State
When the ball rotates by 90°, the channel within the ball becomes perpendicular to the pipeline. As a result, the flow of the medium is completely blocked, effectively shutting off the passage and preventing any further fluid transfer.
Adjustment Function (Optional)
For the V - port ball valve only, the rotation angle of the ball can be regulated by a positioner. This precise control of the rotation angle enables the achievement of flow adjustment, allowing for the modulation of the fluid flow rate according to specific operational requirements.
