Explosion-proof principle and structure
Explosion-proof type:
Flameproof type (Ex d) : The housing can withstand the internal explosion pressure and prevent the flame from spreading outward.
Intrinsic safety type (Ex ia/ib) : Limits circuit energy to ensure that explosive environments cannot be ignited.
Enhanced safety (Ex e) : Prevents arcing or overheating through enhanced sealing and insulation.
Key structure:
Explosion-proof housing: high strength materials (such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy), sealed design (IP66/IP68).
Special contact: no spark material or sealed contact to avoid spark leakage.
Safety circuit: This type adopts low power consumption design and needs to be used with safety grid.
