Common faults and solutions of the Pneumatic Dust Butterfly Valve are as follows:
1. The valve cannot be opened or closed
Reason: It may be a gas source fault, such as insufficient air pressure, air pipe blockage or air leakage; it may also be a solenoid valve fault, coil burnout, valve core jamming, etc.; it may also be that the butterfly plate is stuck by foreign objects or the valve stem is rusted or deformed, causing jamming.
Solution: Check the gas source system, ensure that the air pressure is normal, repair the leaking point, and clean the blocked air pipe; check the solenoid valve, replace the burnt coil, clean or replace the valve core; clean the foreign objects around the butterfly plate, and rust, lubricate or replace the valve stem.
2. The valve is not closed tightly
Reason: The sealing surface is worn, corroded, or has debris attached, resulting in poor sealing; the deformation of the butterfly plate will also affect the sealing effect.
Solution: Grind or replace the sealing surface, clean the debris on the sealing surface, and repair or replace the deformed butterfly plate.
3. The valve moves slowly
Reason: The air source pressure is too low and the flow is insufficient; the cylinder is worn inside, causing air leakage; the actuator is poorly lubricated.
Solution: Adjust the air source pressure to ensure that the valve working requirements are met; repair or replace worn cylinder parts; lubricate the actuator to ensure smooth movement.
4. The valve has an abnormal noise
Reason: The friction between the butterfly plate and the valve seat may be caused by improper installation, damage to the sealing surface, etc.; it may also be caused by abnormal operation of pneumatic components such as solenoid valves and cylinders.
Solution: Re-adjust the valve installation position so that the butterfly plate and the valve seat match well, replace the damaged sealing surface, check the pneumatic components, and repair or replace the faulty parts.
5. Valve internal leakage
Reason: In addition to the sealing surface problem, it may also be caused by damage to the gasket of the valve, loose bolts, etc.
Solution: Replace the damaged gasket, tighten the loose bolts, and ensure the sealing of the valve.
