Analyze the difference between pneumatic valves and electric stainless steel ball valves
Pneumatic valves and electric stainless steel ball valves are two types of valves that are widely used in the market. What is the difference between the two?
Appearance difference: They are composed of actuators and valve bodies. Electric product limit switches are in the electrical equipment, pneumatic valve limit switches, air source filters, and solenoid valves.
Time difference: Pneumatic products need to switch quickly, DN50 products can switch in 1 second, and electric products are relatively slow to switch, generally requiring 15-30 seconds to switch.
Cost problem: Relatively speaking, the cost of electric stainless steel ball valves is higher. If there is a gas source on site, it is recommended to use pneumatic products (generally, the pressure of the gas source is 4-6kg), and the applicability of pneumatic products on the market is higher.
Lifespan issue: Electric products have a low lifespan, generally less than 10,000 times of switching, and pneumatic products can reach many times of switching. (Electric products want to complete hundreds of thousands of times unless a brushless motor is used, which can reach 300,000 times. It can only be used for gears with a diameter of 50mm, and it cannot be used after 50nm. Relatively speaking, only a DN32 ball valve can be equipped with a butterfly valve under 50nm, and a butterfly valve can be equipped with a diameter of DN100 or less).
Waterproofness: Electric products are not as waterproof as pneumatic valves, and their waterproofness is actually not bad. However, because some customers fail to connect properly when wiring, it will cause water to leak in, and many electric products are used outdoors. In the rainy season in the south, if the temperature difference is too large, condensate will occur. Too much condensate will cause moldy and short circuit inside. The circuit board inside is simply damaged by condensate. Therefore, we recommend that customers who buy electric products do not use it. In the case of 2-3 times a month. The air cylinder does not matter, the water resistance of pneumatic products will be better.
Switching method: The pneumatic valve is driven by the air source (the air source comes from the air compressor), the valve closes after the air source enters, and the valve stem is opened when the air is discharged. The electric stainless steel ball valve is a 90° rolling switch valve.
