Advantages Of Aluminum Alloy Quarter-turn Cylinders

As we all know, compared with electric actuators, aluminum alloy quarter-turn cylinders work reliably in harsh environments, are easy to operate, and are basically maintenance-free. Cylinders are good at reciprocating linear motion, especially suitable for linear handling of workpieces with the most transmission requirements in industrial automation. Moreover, stable speed control can be easily achieved by simply adjusting the one-way throttle valves installed on both sides of the cylinder, which has become the biggest feature and advantage of the cylinder drive system. Therefore, for users who do not have multilateration requirements, most of them tend to use cylinders from a convenience point of view. At present, most of the applications of electric actuators in the industrial field require high-precision multi-point positioning, which is difficult to achieve with cylinders.

The larger the cylinder diameter and power, the smaller the pitch and the greater the output force. The theoretical output force of a cylinder with a diameter of 50mm can reach 2000N. For electric cylinders with the same diameter, although the products of different companies are different, they basically do not exceed 1000N. Obviously, the cylinder has more advantages in terms of output force.

(3) Strong adaptability. The cylinder can work normally in high and low temperature environments, has dustproof and waterproof capabilities, and can adapt to various harsh environments. Due to the large number of electrical components, it has high environmental requirements and poor adaptability.
